“Oh So Different Wedding Photos”
At Lower Barns Boutique B&B we strive to be individual with our designs and style.
With Elope and Runaway Weddings at the forefront this year, we wanted to create a back drop for those ‘Oh so different wedding photos’…. and our research led us to Ben Allen. It was love at first sight with his work and attitude and I knew he would work wonders with the wall I had in mind.
Having never seen a true artist create a picture from start to finish, I found the whole thing wowzer amazing. Ben really gets to the heart of what you want but with his graffiti style gives the whole picture a new life.
Ben Allen is really rocking Cornwall watch this space…

Ben Allen is a self taught artist. At the age of seventeen he escaped the UK and headed to Indonesia, spending the following years travelling to many different countries taking photos and gaining a sense of himself. After returning from Mexico he stumbled across a tiny local gallery in his home town of Brighton and shortly after got his own studio and started selling his first work. It took another five years of hard graft as a labourer and working nights in bars until he could finally transfer over and just paint. Now he is an internationally acclaimed artist who’s works are highly relatable and accessible for collectors.
He exhibits his mixed media paintings in venues and galleries internationally as well as selling to celebrities such as Richard Branson, Stephen Dorff and Jade Jagger.
Ben’s work is in private collections throughout the UK, in Australia, New York, Barcelona, Japan, Ibiza and has featured in Design Week, The Observer, The Times, Elle Déco, Plus1, FRANKIE and GQ magazines amongst others.
