Theatre, music, wonder…in a Cornish tent
“One of our liveliest national treasures” “constantly, delightfully inventive”
inventive” This is Kneehigh. Every year they delight us with their dark, magical theatre. This year is no exception Dead Dog in a Suitcase ( and other love songs ) it’s a dark musical combined with octane farce and a collection of songs culled from the edge of existence-some angry, some sweet. All combined to create a portrait of a world hanging by a thread. If you haven’t indulged in the thrills and spills of Kneehigh you must as they are playing till the 28th September in the Asylum at The Lost Gardens Heligan. Cornwall has such an eclectic mix of artist, poet, novelist, singer song writers and acting talents and to be able to indulge into this really feeds the sole.
