For nine years, sports therapist and masseuse, John Kelly, had a key role to play at one of Britain’s most successful football clubs. However, when the Arsenal squad started pre-season training in July 2013…

John was almost 300 miles away, having decided that life was more important than working 100 hours a week. He said, “when it got to the point that I was needing to have injections in my wrists and shoulders, I decided the time to move on had arrived!”

John’s career in football spanned over 20 years. When he brought it to an end, he knew a lovely long rest was well deserved. Three years on, John and his wife Val have found a new home and lifestyle, and have settled into Cornish ways easily, with a little bit of “dreckly” thrown in for good measure.

John is known to us as JK. Last year, after inuring my back working in the garden, it was lucky for me that our paths crossed. I can confirm that, yes, he has got magic hands! I couldn’t believe how great I felt, immediately after my treatment and increasingly after doing the exercises he gave me. Within two weeks I had sent the whole family and recommended him to everyone I knew.
